Biography
Soekiman Wirjosandjojo (1898–1974) was an Indonesian .
Political leaders and Indonesian  freedom fighters also known as a figure Masyumi (Majelis Syura Muslimis Indonesia/Shura Council of Muslim Indonesia).  He served as prime minister of Indonesia from April 1951 to April 1952. He come from a religious family. After a sufficient age he entered into the ELS, then proceed to STOVIA (medical school) in Jakarta. At age 29 he graduated from the University of Amsterdam health section. During their studies in the country, he was steeped in social issues, politics, and culture. Because of his ability, he was elected chairman of the Association of Indonesia (1925). In 1926 he returned to his homeland and set up practice physician in Yogyakarta. Along with that, he plunged into the struggle with Islam SI Party (PSI) led HOS Tjokroaminoto - H. Agus Salim and served as treasurer for six years. Dr. Sukiman become an important member of the federation. After the Declaration of Independence, he was appointed a member of the Supreme Advisory Council while still advancing Masyumi.
